Martinez…… Saturday and Sunday June 18th and 19th from 9AM to 6PM Martinez presents the 5th Annual King of County BBQ and Music Festival at the Martinez Waterfront Park. There will two big days filled with award winning BBQ from Back-40, Kinder's, and Bulldog BBQ. There will be lots of live music from Bay Area Bands! Two days of BBQ Amateurs Contests, arts and crafts booths, entertainment stage and kids rides and activities. Wine and Premium Beer will be available for purchase. Admission and parking are FREE!!!
Danville………. The Danville Area Chamber of Commerce and Town of Danville are proud to present the 20th year of high-quality paintings, sculpture, glass, ceramics, jewelry, fiber arts and other media by more than 200 artists. These works are selected for their beauty, excellence and professionalism, and the artists, who come from all over California and the western United States to participate, often present one-of-a-kind pieces. Saturday and Sunday June 18th and 19th from 10AM to 5PM Danville presents Danville Fine Arts Faire along Hartz Ave. in downtown Danville.
Concord….. Sunday June 19th starting at 11AM, Concord is having a special fire station challenge chili cook-off. Cool the fire at the beer garden, and pay tribute to the music of Steely Dan with Steely Dan tribute band and Concord faves, Aja Vu. In the Todos Santos Park starting at 11AM.
